EAV’s multi-day residential retreats offer Maine veterans and their primary caregiver or other supportive family member or friend an opportunity to learn about alternative healing modalities which may help them to manage the symptoms of PTSD or TBI. Additionally, participants have the opportunity for recreation and relaxation in a beautiful natural setting. Retreats begin at 4:00 PM on the first day and end late morning on the last day. There is no cost to the veteran or accompanying caregiver. Applications must be accompanies by DD214 and verification of diagnosis by medical doctor or case manager.
From February 18-22, 2016 a retreat was held at the Kennedy Learning Center on campus of Camp Kieve. Below you will find some pictures that were taken during that retreat.
